Two-Part Workshop Series
What Your Child's Body is Trying to Tell You
Service Description
*Ticket includes 1 Parent & 1 Child for Part 2 Workshop Understanding reflexes, emotions & behaviour & how to gently support them Behind every behaviour, there is often a nervous system asking for support. Sometimes big emotions, movement-seeking, overwhelm, shutdowns or struggles with focus and regulation may be connected to more than behaviour alone. This compassionate and educational workshop series has been thoughtfully created to help families better understand the connection between movement, nervous system development, emotional regulation, learning and behaviour. Presented collaboratively by Maranda from Hart in Harmony and Dr Lauren from Vital Health Chiropractic, this experience combines nervous system education, movement-based practices and relational support within a warm and welcoming environment. Primitive reflexes are automatic movement patterns present from birth that support early development. When retained beyond infancy, they may influence areas such as: -Posture and coordination -Focus and learning -Emotional regulation -Sensory processing -Body awareness and movement patterns Together, we will explore these connections in practical and easy-to-understand ways while offering supportive tools families can continue using at home.
